ABOUT ME

Dr. Mirzaee recently joined Valley Urologic Medical Group and was recruited for his expertise in the field of Robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopy and female incontinence and reconstructive surgery. He attended University of California of Los Angeles (UCLA) where he received his Bachelors in Biology in 2004. He received his medical education from State University of NY Stony Brook School of Medicine where he graduated top of his class. He attended the surgical residency program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and finished his urology, laparoscopy and Robotic surgery training at Hackensack University Medical Center, UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, and Desert Community Hospital. During his urology training Dr. Mirzaee was awarded the Golden Apple Award as recognition of the top surgical resident.

Dr. Mirzaee is a member of the American Urologic Association in good standing. He specializes in advanced laparoscopy, Robotics and minimally invasive surgery involving complex urinary stone disease, genitourinary reconstructive surgery and urological oncology. Dr. Mirzaee has several publications and multiple presentations at national urology conferences including presentations of his experience with new and innovative surgeries with the advanced robotic system. He was recruited by Dr. Peter Ilbeigi to provide these valuable services to the Low Desert Community.
