Bobby Alexander, MD

Dr. Bobby Alexander is a graduate from the Department of Urology at New York Medical College.  He subsequently completed an intensive two-year Endourology fellowship in New York City under the world-renowned Dr. Michael Grasso, with a focus in advanced kidney stone disease and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.  Dr. Alexander specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a variety of urological conditions.  He has expertise in treating urologic cancers as well as general urologic conditions and has written dozens of peer reviewed articles, abstracts, and textbook chapters on many key urologic conditions.  He has won numerous awards and honors including the coveted Ferninand C. Valentine Residents’ Essay competition three years in a row and the annual Endourological Society Fellows Essay contest.

Dr. Alexander is excited to have recently joined Valley Urologic Medical Group.  With modern, state-of-the-art offices in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta he looks forward to offering his services to this diverse region of patients in the greater Coachella Valley.  Dr. Alexander is taking new patient appointments, accepts a wide variety of insurances, and has privileges at the major hospitals in the area.
